So, I have a month off...well, been 3 weeks off already. But I got a new job after my disaster with the last company...long story...
I got a serious new job with a Brain Trust group and I don’t start till early July. Since I have income returning soon, I figured it was time to take my E92 in for some needed updates and repairs.
What recalled parts should I ask my Dealer to get for me? I know the airbag, but is there anything else I haven’t followed that gets replaced (for free)?
Cheers,
Azrek

Maybe the f ootwell module? (FRM) mine went bad a little while back and its not that great a thing. They extended the warranty out to 10 years so you should still be covered. Side effects include no lights, illuminated dash, no power windows, no turn signals, no headlights and it won’t enter sleep mode. If it goes bust you are basically left with running lights and brake lights. It made for a fairly uncomfortable drive back home after a long day at work and the sun was pretty much set.

It’s been over a year since I’ve had that taken care of.

I had the blower motor wiring done last year, they’re different in the E90 and E92, but I also got it taken care of in my 3 as well.

At that time, i t said online the remedy wasn’t available since there was a shortage of parts. What the dealer told me was that if the car was there or you called and they had the part, they would take care of it. I even got a loaner when they changed it.
